• Not Only The Armadillo Heels

Remember the Alexander McQueen Armadillo heels I blogged about last time? Here's the link to the post.

Yeah I've done further research and found some extra info about it.

Here are the celebrities that have worn the Armadillo heels, so far.

Lady Gaga in her Bad Romance video, especially the "I'm a free bitch baby" part.

Fashion icon Daphne Guinness in nude Armadillo heels. Oh the dress is also from Alexander McQueen.

And our "Spaceship" songstress Kelis in nude Armadillo heels and a er... cat suit? And a spiky hairdo and er... hair/tail? Lol.

Well what I didn't realise was the other towering heels that Alexander McQueen designed beside the Armadillos, and they turn out as stunning as the Armadillos!

My favourite so far, the Titanic Ballerina. I think this should be categorized under boots. This heels might look er... a lil "mechanical" but I'd say you'd look stunning if you wear this for any occasion. What I like about his heels is that, the platform height is just nice for the design of the shoe. And of course, the outstanding towering mechanical heels. Later there'll be another picture which shows the front of this shoe having a metal toe plate.

Another one is the Necronomicon inspired heels. I really think the heels were awesome before this until I found out what Necronomicon is. It's something ... demonic. But I stil think it's stunning. =D

So, these are the stunning heels which I adore from Alexander McQueen, but sadly, they won't be released in stores. But IF you MUST have it, I think you can make a special order for it. Just make sure you're ready for the hefty price tag which would be somewhere around USD3,900 up tilll USD10,000!

Oh Oh here's a video from the Fashion Relief for Haiti of Naomi Campbell (Titanic Ballerina), Annabelle Neilson (Necronomicon) and Kate Moss (Titanic Ballerina) all in Alexander McQueen's dress too.

So awesome right? Loved the way Naomi stopped and turn and strut her stuff down the runway. Pity Annabelle, the shoe size were bigger than her feet. I LOVE KATE MOSS! Everything she did on the runway *hearts*

But if you think that USD3,900 is just a lil too much for you and you really want a piece of Alexander McQueen, I guess the Titanic Ballerina pump is the one for you!

This would be the only heel from the Spring/Summer 2010 runway that would be released and it costs at a lower USD1,985. I'm not sure in what colours they come in, all I know is nudish pink and black.

A Birkin!!! Finally! She is one of the celebrities that doesn't have a Hermes Birkin bag. She once said that spending US$8000 on a bag is crazy, that's why she doesn't own a Birkin.

So how about this? She owns this bag. It's a Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag. The top one is US$45,000 and the bottom one is US$38,000. Beyonce has the one at the bottom. What is US$8000 compared to US$38000?

But the thing is, it wasn't Beyonce that bought it, it was Jay-Z that bought it for her. And not only 1 did he buy, he bought several Birkins and the bill totals up at US$350,000. Wow. A crocodile skin one amongst the many perhaps?

Of Celebrities in Louis Vuitton

Leighton Meester! One of my favourite celebrities. The Gossip Girl beauty attended The Art of Elysium’s 4th Annual Black Tie “Heaven” Charity Gala on the 15th of January at the California Science Center dressed in a Louis Vuitton dress and clutch, both from the Spring-Summer 2011 collection. Not sure about the shoes though.

THIS, is her exclusive Louis Vuitton clutch. It's made of black stingray skin, some floral cut-out made of ostrich skin (wow I like how the skin is dyed) with some Swarovski crystals embellished on it. Masterpiece! Price tag? Wallet-go-into-pieces. US$11,400.

This is the US$35,500 Louis Vuitton (I think it's a) clutch. The Monogram Nova. It's a spherical clutch embellished with black and white Swarovski crystals applied by hand and on it hangs yellow and black tassels. It will be on sale only when it is released in April 2011.

Hmmm ... I say the price comes from the workmanship. That's one expensive workmanship.

Victoria Beckham. Sashaying through JFK Airport in those studded heels (Louboutin or Atwoods?), her Chanel-esque bag from her own label (unfortunately, it isn't the crocodile skin version) and her shining customised gold iPhone 4! The Stuart Hughes-designed luxury phone features 150 grams of 24-carat gold (I always thought 24-carat gold was too soft) and it costs £21,995 ($35,400). Meh, nothing much for a Beckham compared to her Birkin collection!

Oooh look at that. A very vintage-ish (very Chanel-esque too) jacket, leather tight pants, Jimmy Choo sandals, LOVE her golden necklace, her 32cm black Kelly bag, and top it off with that sexy hair and face! My type of style!

Last but not least, one of the trends that I am trying to follow. Boots and fitting jeans! I'm trying to find a pair of designer boots actually, missed the 60% off Ferragamo though. Back to the image above, I love how she dress-ups a little bit like a cowgirl and yet look modern. Loving the matching boots and Dior bag!

Blake Lively for Chanel

Just a few months ago, news and rumors were spreading around about the fact that Karl Lagerfeld is choosing Blake Lively as the new face for Chanel.

Blake Lively. Oh by the way this was part of the scene in an episode in Gossip Girl shot in Paris. She's seen carrying a Fendi Peek-a-boo bag in watersnake, and I've actually seen it personally! I think I've blogged about it before, but anyway, it's lined with yellow watersnake, and black suede. It costs RM19,000 for this gorgeous bag. Not sure if it's still available in the store or not.

And this is Blake, in a Chanel dress. Stunning, ain't she? She's always the IT girl and whatever she puts on, it always looks better on her than other celebrities.

What I always thought of when Chanel comes to my mind, is, young, beautiful, popular, LIVELY, IT girls, and no other bags could look better than those Chanel classic flaps (can I say, including the Birkin?).

Well for now, the 2 hottest thing on Earth, Blake Lively and Chanel, collaborates together and produces...

Awesome. The photo is very elegant, beautiful, and somehow it feels a little bit dark here. The sad part is, this is Blake Lively! Where is the LIVELY-ness in this photo? I feel that, since it's Blake Lively being chosen for this, it should display her personality, not the photographer nor the designer's.

Oh well, I'm still waiting for the one day in 2011 that I would trade my 2 year old Louis Vuitton wallet for a Chanel one. :D

Britney in Burberry Studded Biker Jacket

Here's Britney, shooting her video for her latest single "Till the World Ends". In her tweet she said :

And if you noticed, she's wearing the same exact jacket the model is wearing above, and it's from Burberry! Metal spikes, rivets and cones all over it, this jacket costs at a price of US$5,995.
