Millions of Dollars Worth of Auction Items

  • La Dress, and La Violin
Recently, 2 HUGE items has been sold at auctions, in which both for millions of dollars!

The first one is the iconic white halter-neck dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the film, "Seven Year Itch". Although the original white colour of the dress has aged, the dress is still undeniably one of the most famous dress in the world and is a piece of wonderful history. The dress was auctioned off at US$4.6 million.

La violin. Named as the "Lady Blunt", this Stradivarius violin of 1721 has been auctioned off to raise money for disaster relief in Japan. Successfully, the violin has been sold for an astounding US$15.9 million / GBP9 million.

Yup, Stradivarius violins are all worth millions, as most date back to the 16th/17th centuries. Violinist Joshua Bell owns one.
